Pass The battery charge indicator shows at least one full block. Go to Step 3.
Fail The battery charge indicator does not show at least one full block.
1. Move the key switch to the O
2. Disconnect the battery. Refer to
3. Verify that the battery charger is turned off.
4. Connect the battery charger to the battery and charge the battery.
5. Disconnect the battery charger and reconnect the battery to the machine.
6. Repeat Step 2.
Step 3: Check the 5V supply reading on the InfoCenter.
1. Verify that the key switch is in the O
2. On the InfoCenter, press the left button as needed to display the Main Menu.
3. Press the center button as needed to highlight Diagnostics.
4. Press the right button to display the Diagnostics menu.
5. On the Diagnostics menu, look at the value for +5V.
Pass The reading is greater than 4.91V. Go Step 6.
Fail
The reading is 4.91V or less. Go to Step 4.
Step 4: Disconnect the throttle sensor.
1. Verify that the battery is connected. Refer to
2. Verify that the key switch is in the O
3. Remove the control cover. Refer to
4. Locate the throttle sensor.

5. Unplug harness connector P05 from the throttle sensor.
6. Turn on the machine by rotating the key switch to the O
