Pass The battery charge indicator shows at least one full block. Go to Step 3.
Fail The battery charge indicator does not show at least one full block.
1. Move the key switch to the O
2. Disconnect the battery. Refer to
3. Verify that the battery charger is turned off.
4. Connect the battery charger to the battery and charge the battery.
5. Disconnect the battery charger and reconnect the battery to the machine.
6. Repeat Step 2.
Step 3: Inspect connectors.

3. Locate the TEC-2402 controller, then unplug harness connectors P01 and P02.

4. Inspect the wiring and inside all of the connectors (P01, P02, P1, and P2) for damage, corrosion, and
proper fit between all pins and their corresponding sockets.
Pass The wiring and connectors passed inspection.
1. Plug in harness connectors P01 and P02.
2. Connect the battery. Refer to
3. Go to Step 4.
Fail One or more of the wiring and/or connector inspections failed.
1. Repair or replace the worn or damaged parts.
2. If you need to replace the TEC, perform the 3 procedures in the
Controller (TEC) (page 19)
