Pass The battery charge indicator shows at least one full block. Go to Step 3.
Fail The battery charge indicator does not show at least one full block.
1. Move the key switch to the O
2. Disconnect the battery. Refer to
3. Verify that the battery charger is turned off.
4. Connect the battery charger to the battery and charge the battery.
5. Disconnect the battery charger and reconnect the battery to the machine.
6. Repeat Step 2.
Step 3: Disconnect the telematics connector.
An additional controller may be added to the CAN bus through the telematics connector. The telematics
connector on your machine may or may not be plugged in to a device.

2. Verify that the battery is connected. Refer to
3. Verify that the key switch is in the O
4. Locate the telematics connector.
A. If the telematics connector is not connected to a device, go to Step 4 and continue there.
B. If the telematics connector is connected to a device, perform steps 5 through 8 in this procedure.

5. Unplug harness connector P44 (the telematics connector) from the device.
6. Turn on the machine by rotating the key switch to the O
7. Look at the InfoCenter and see if the fault is still repeating.
8. Shut off the machine by rotating the key switch to the O
