Never install a rear-facing child restraint in the
front seat of a vehicle equipped with an active
frontal airbag.
Do not use the tether for rear-facing mode.
Secure tether strap to its storage location.
Do not use the UAS belt along with the vehicle lap
or lap/shoulder belt.
Check the vehicle belt or the UAS belt before
each use. Use only if the belt can be tightened
properly and locked securely in place.
Do not fasten multiple UAS connectors or hooks on the same
lower/UAS anchor bar in the vehicle.
The anti-rebound bar must be used in rear-facing mode.
Even when unoccupied, this child restraint must be firmly
secured to the vehicle with a UAS belt or with the vehicle seat
belt.
This child restraint MUST always face the rear of the vehicle until
the child is at least 1 year old and weighs 10 kg (22 lb).

Install Anti-Rebound Bar

Place Car Seat Rear-Facing
in Back Seat
The anti-rebound bar should
make contact with the vehicle
seat back, but it does not need
to be flush with the vehicle seat
back.
