working with Meridian Mail.

Risk of electrocution
Nortel Networks requires that a licensed
electrician make all connections needed at
an electrical service panel.

Risk of electrocution
Before installing power supplies, cards,
disk drives, or tape drives in an AC
module, ensure that shelf breakers are
OFF.
Before installing power supplies, cards,
disk drives, or tape drives in a DC module,
ensure that the module power supply
switches are OFF.
CAUTION
Risk of equipment damage
Jumpers connected to the backplane
shrouds S4, S5, and S7 have high-density
connectors and must be installed very
carefully to avoid damaging the pins. Line
up the jumper at right angles to the
backplane, and press gently until fully
seated.
