Precautions when
recording
About the display during recording
The content recorded when "TOC" is lit
has not yet been recorded on the MD. Do not unplug the
power plug from the outlet when "TOC" is lit. You will
not be able to record the recorded content on the MD.
The contents recorded when you try to remove the MD
or when you try to turn off the power of this unit are
recorded on the MD.
When "TOC Writing" is blinking, the recorded
content is recorded on the MD. At this time, do not
unplug the power plug from the outlet or shake the main
unit. The recorded content may not be recorded correctly.
Sampling rate converter
Converts the digital signal input to this unit to the MD
sampling frequency (44.1kHz). Therefore, you can
monitor the sound of DATs and satellite digital broadcasts
(32kHz or 48kHz) with different sampling frequencies
(see "Monitoring the input sound" on page 18), or perform
digital recording.
