– Unlock catch -arrow-, remove engine control unit -1-.
– Unlock plug connections for engine control unit - J623- and
pull off.
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order, while paying atten‐
tion to the following:
– It is imperative for the protective housing to be put back in
place on the engine control unit - J623- .
– Clean the threaded holes for the shear bolts to remove resi‐
dues of locking agent. Cleaning can be done using a tapper.
– Always use new shear bolts.
After installing a new engine control unit, the following work step
must be performed
– Switch on the ignition and select the following on the diagnos‐
tic unit :
