RXE Expansion Port cabling for two stand-alone servers
Complete the following steps to cable two stand-alone servers to a single RXE-100
enclosure:
1. Determine which server will be connected to port A of the RXE-100 enclosure
and which will be connected to port B.
2. Remove the protective covers from the connectors on the ends of the cables.

3. Using an RXE Expansion cable, connect one end of the cable to RXE
Expansion Port A on the RXE-100 enclosure.

4. Connect the opposite end of the cable to RXE Expansion Port A or B on the
first server.
Note: If the server has one SMP Expansion Module installed, you must
connect the RXE Expansion cable to RXE Expansion Port A on the
server. If the server has two SMP Expansion Modules installed, connect
the cable to RXE Expansion Port B.
