Check Catalogue and Save File
The spectrum analyzer saves and acquires data in a similar way to a personal computer: both have
internal memory and a USB drive. The spectrum analyzer allows you to view and save files on the
internal memory or on a USB. This chapter will show you how to save files and find catalogue.
Find File in Catalogue
Tap the corresponding icon on the left of the screen
The spectrum analyzer contains six kinds of files:
State file is to save the setting information of the spectrum analyzer. The file suffix is .state.
Trace file is to save the trace information. The file suffix is .trace.
Screenshot file is to save screen capture. The file suffix is .png.
Limit value file is to ensure that trace whether is out of the preset range. The file suffix is .limit.
Correction file is amplitude correction for compensating the gain and loss of the external device. The
file suffix is .corr.
Measuring data is to save the information of trace, peak list or marker list. The file suffix is .csv.

Create New File

Create a new file
1. Press
>LocalDisk>UTS3036B to select a catalogue which need to create a file;
2. Tap "New folder" to create a new file.
Multiple Select(On/Off)
1. Press
>LocalDisk>UTS3036B or select the catalogue in USB;
2. Turn on "Multi Select" menu;
3. Select the multiple file or tick √ box on the front of the file name to complete multiple selection.
Copy File
If you need to copy files from the internal memory to a USB flash drive, please refer to the following
steps:
1. Press
>LocalDisk>UTS3036B to select file or folder;
2. Connect U flash disk to USB interface on the instrument;
3. After select the file, tap "Copy" on the screen;
4. Select the catalogue which you want to copy and tap "paste" to complete copy and paste.
