Rest Spectrum Analyzer
Reset is for recall preset, set the system setting return to the specified state, here are four reset types,
Press [System]> Restore Defaults to select reset type.
Select Setup, system setting of spectrum analyzer will return to the default.
Select Data, all the saved data will be deleted.
Select All,all the setting of spectrum analyzer will return to the default, delete all data.
Observe Signal
See the following steps to observe a simple signal.
1. Press [Default] to reset the spectrum analyzer to the factory setting.
2. Connect 10MHz OUT port on the rear panel to RF IN port on the front panel.
Set Reference Level and Center Frequency
1. Press [AMPT]>20dBm to set the reference level to 20dBm.
2. Press [FRQE]>Center Frequency>50MHz to set the center frequency to 50MHz.
Set Span
Press [FRQE]>Span>100MHz to set span to 100MHz.
Note
Changing the reference level will change the amplitude value of the top grid line. Changing the center
frequency will change the horizontal position of the signal on the screen. Increasing the span will
increase the range of frequency that can be displayed horizontally on the screen.
Read Frequency and Amplitude Value
1. Press [Peak] to place a marker at 10MHz peak (the default: marker 1).
Note
Frequency and amplitude value of this mark will displayed on functional area on the top right of the
screen.
Use rotary knob, direction key or [Peak] on the panel menu to move the marker
