5.3 Encoder

The iCast 10NDI has two video encoding engines allowing you to concurrently stream and record to
multiple destinations over different protocols. The configurable encoder settings are Encoder Type,
Resolution, Frame Rate, Profile, Level, Entropy, GOP, Video Bitrate (bps) and Audio Bitrate (bps)
which will be detailed in this section.

Type

The H.264 video codec is a technology that encodes your raw footage so
the file isn't massive and then decodes it for playback.
