Available when Surround EX decoding is engaged. Surround
EX decoding is engaged when the SURROUND EX parameter is
set to ON. Refer to page 31 for more information about the
SURROUND EX parameter.
Designed for playback of 5.1-channel analog film sources.
Converts the 5.1-channel analog input into digital audio for
internal THX processing
Allows the 5.1-channel analog input to utilize Surround EX
decoding, re-equalization, bass management, audio controls,
crossovers, and speaker distance calibration.
