Fuel pump module removal

1. Remove:
• Nuts
• Retainer
TIP
Loosen the nuts in the sequence shown.
2. Remove:
• Fuel pump module assembly 1
TIP
• Remove the fuel pump module assembly 1
at an angle so that the float 2 does not catch
on the fuel tank.
• Make sure that the rubber cap 3 does not
come off when removing the fuel pump mod-
ule assembly 1.

Fuel sender removal

1. Remove:
• Fuel sender 1
Removal steps:
1. Disconnect the fuel sender coupler 2.
2. Squeeze the hooks a on the stopper 3,
and then slide the clip in direction È to
remove it.
3. Push the tabs b on the fuel sender 1,
and then slide the sender in direction É to
remove it.
