2. Check:
• Starter relay continuity
Out of specification → Replace the
starter relay.
Checking steps:
1. Remove the starter relay.
Refer to "Electrical box disassembly."
2. Connect the tester leads between the
starter relay terminals 1 and 2.
3. Connect the positive battery lead to the
terminal 3, and the negative battery lead
to the terminal 4.
4. Check the continuity between the starter
relay terminals 1 and 2.
Starter relay continuity:
Battery lead
3 – 4
Disconnected
Connected
