Do not reuse the thrust washer, always re-
place it with a new one.
Bearing attachment 2:

Distance a:
4.4 ± 0.3 mm (0.17 ± 0.01 in)

Driven coupling installation

1. Install:
• Driven coupling 1
TIP
Make sure to insert the special service tool 2
completely into the intermediate drive shaft.
Shaft holder 2:
90890-06730
Coupler wrench 3:
90890-06729
Driven coupling:
205 N·m (20.5 kgf·m, 151.2 ft·lb)
LOCTITE 572

Intermediate housing installation

1. Install:
• Intermediate housing assembly 1
• Shims 2
TIP
Make sure to install the shims in their original
positions.
