5. Tighten:
• Connecting rod nuts 1
TIP
Use a commercially available angle gauge to
tighten the nuts to the specified angle.
Connecting rod nut:
1st: 51 N·m (5.1 kgf·m, 37.6 ft·lb)
2nd: 90°

Crankcase assembly

1. Install:
• Dowel pin 1
• O-ring 2
Installation steps:
1. Thoroughly clean all the gasket surfaces
and crankcase mating surfaces.
2. Install the dowel pin 1 and O-ring 2.
3. Apply sealant to the mating surface of the
crankcase.
TIP
Do not get away sealant on the main bearing.
