Cleaning inside the front
cover
Ink mist causes the inside of the front cover to become
dirty. If you continue to use the printer while this is
dirty, you cannot see inside the printer.
If it is dirty, follow the steps below to clean.
A
Make sure the printer is turned off and the screen
has turned off, and then unplug the power cable
from the outlet.
Disconnect both of the power cables.
If the additional print drying system is installed,
make sure you unplug the power cable for the
additional print drying system as well.
B
Leave the printer for a minute.
C
Open the front cover.
D
Wipe lint and dust adhered to the inside of the
front cover using a soft cloth that has been soaked
in water and squeezed well.
For anything that cannot be removed with a
damp cloth, dip a cloth in neutral detergent,
squeeze it out, and then wipe the stubborn stain.
