If the Mesa Pro battery reaches a low charge, it automatically
hibernates to prevent further drain on the battery.
Note: Data and programs are secure as long as they have been
saved, even if the battery pack becomes discharged. The tablet
does not depend on the battery to store the data for extended
periods.
To take the Mesa Pro out of hibernation, plug it in with the AC wall
charger.

2.13.3 Battery Life

Battery life on a full charge is about 4.5 hours with one battery
or 9.5 hours with two. This varies depending on your usage of
applications, backlight, and radio.
The shelf life for battery packs is about one year. The battery
packs should be recharged at least once per year. This prevents
the battery packs from discharging to a level that might damage
the batteries. Battery packs that are not recharged at least every
year, could fail to work or may have reduced capacity. Battery
packs typically last 1,000 to 3,000 charging cycles.
CAUTION: Only use batteries designed for the Mesa Pro from
!
an approved vendor. Use of non-approved batteries may void
your product warranty.
!
CAUTION: The unit is not designed to run on external power
without a battery installed. Doing so can damage internal
components of your unit if external power is accidentally lost
and void the warranty.
