How to activate Verizon Wireless on a

Mesa 2 with OS 18323

Inserting a SIM card from Verizon Wireless may not immediately activate on a Mesa 2 unit that has

"Original OS Version: 18323" in "Device Info" similar to as shown below.

To activate, please follow these steps.

1. Download and extract the following archive file. This file is large, so may take a while to

download. You may also need to allow permissions to download and access this file.

Page 2 2. Once the files are all extracted to the same folder on the Mesa 2, run the “Generic7355DriverSetup.exe” installer. It may take a minute or two for this large file to launch. 3. Follow the instructions provided by the installer until finished.
Page 3 4. If still needed, perform a Shut Down then insert the SIM card (with applying adhesive tape for a pull tab). Otherwise, perform a Restart. 5. Once the unit has finished powering back on and rebooting, check the status under Cellular. It should now show Verizon and state “Getting ready…”...
