The brake control may not operate
properly depending on the status of ESC
(Electronic Stability Control).
There will only be a warning when:
僅 The ESC (Electronic Stability Control)
warning light is on.
僅 ESC (Electronic Stability Control) is
engaged in a different function.

When Blind-Spot Safety function is not
working properly, the 'Check Blind-spot
safety system' warning message will
appear on the cluster, and Blind-Spot
Collision-Avoidance Assist will turn off
automatically, or the function will be lim-
ited. In this case, have your vehicle
inspected by a professional workshop.
Kia recommends to contact an autho-
rised Kia dealer/service partner.

When the outside rearview mirror warn-
ing light is not working properly, the
'Check side view mirror warning light'
warning message will appear on the
cluster. We recommend that you have
your vehicle inspected by an authorised
Kia dealer/service partner.

Assist disabled

When the rear bumper around the rear
corner radar or sensor is covered with
foreign material, such as snow or rain, or
installing a trailer or carrier, it can reduce
the detecting performance and tempo-
rarily limit or disable Blind-Spot Safety
function.
