Driving your vehicle
The engine will also restart auto-
matically without the driver's any
actions if the following occurs:
僅 The brake vacuum pressure is low.
僅 The engine has stopped for about 5
minutes.
僅 The air conditioning is ON with the fan
speed set to the highest position.
僅 The front defroster is ON.
僅 The battery is weak.
僅 The cooling and heating performance
of the climate control system is unsat-
isfactory.
The green AUTO STOP indicator (
the instrument cluster will blink for 5
seconds.
The engine will start and the green

notice will illuminate on the LCD display.
Condition of ISG system opera-
tion
The ISG system will operate
under the following condition:
僅 The driver's seatbelt is fastened
僅 The driver's door and bonnet are
closed
僅 The brake vacuum pressure is ade-
quate
僅 The battery sensor is activated and
the battery is sufficiently charged
僅 Outside temperature is not too low or
too high
僅 The vehicle is driven over a constant
speed and stops
僅 The climate control system satisfies
the conditions
僅 The vehicle is sufficiently warmed up
僅 The incline is gradual
僅 The steering wheel is turned less than
僅 If the ISG system does not meet that
僅 If the light comes on continuously,
