System Setup Options

Table 1 lists the options on the System Setup screens.

Function
Resets the time on the system's internal clock.
Resets the date on the system's internal calendar.
Identifies the type of diskette drive installed in your system.
Determines whether the system boots with the <Num Lock> mode activated on
keyboards (does not apply to 84-key keyboards).
Turns the built-in speaker On (the default) or Off. A reboot is needed for a
change to take effect.
Sets System Alert to Fault (the default) or Warning.
Disables (the default) or Enables the processor serial number feature.
Displays the current processor bus speed (either 100 MHz or 133 MHz). There are
no user selectable settings.
Displays the version or stepping number of each processor slot in the system.
Displays unknown if the stepping number is unknown and Not installed if no
processor is installed in the slot.
