Wiring for compliance with EMC standards

• When a power supply is provided for the control circuit separately from the main circuit and a capacitive device (such as
an EMC filter or a radio noise filter) is connected, connect a noise filter (example: RTMN5006 manufactured by TDK-
Lambda Corporation) to the control circuit power supply.

• Connect the inverter, noise filter, and motor to the enclosure earth (ground). (It is assumed that the enclosure earth
(ground) is connected to the ship hull earth (ground).)
• When the wiring is different from the recommended one, the noise suppression effect may be insufficient (inadequate
earthing (grounding)).
