Creating New Connections

The New Connection dialog box is used to create new connections. Figure 8-1
shows the New Connection dialog box.

Using the New Connection Dialog Box

To invoke the dialog box:
1. Click on the Configure tab in the T1000 Connection Manager dialog box.
2. Click on Add command button on the Configure properties sheet.

Use the scroll list shown in the dialog box above to select the type of connection
protocol you want. When you choose from the list above, you are deciding which
connection protocol you want to use to connect to a server. Four selections are
available.
