Ensure hands are centered on
the Heart Rate (HR) sensors
with equal pressure, and as little
movement as possible without
touching the metal frame.
Explain that the HR may spike
initially at a high rate, when first
touching the contact plates.
This is normal, and it will
normalize out after waiting a
couple of minutes. Try not to
move the hands while waiting.
If a quicker HR reading is
required, switch to a Bluetooth
®
HR Strap.
Dry or heavily calloused hands
may need a heart rate cream to
make better contact. Search for
Buh-Bump Heart Rate Cream
online.
