Monitoring Battery Power
To install a secondary battery
The OmniBook is shipped with a floppy drive module installed in the plug-in slot.
Other plug-in accessories are available, including a CD-ROM drive and secondary
battery. See page 5-4 for more information about plug-in modules.
1. Slide the safety latch for the plug-in slot into its recess.
2. Slide and hold the release latch, then slide out the module.
3. Slide the secondary battery module into the plug-in slot.
4. Close the safety latch.
A lower triangle appears next to the battery icon in the status panel.
