Chapter 3
The main drive assembly requires adjustments at the time of assembly; thus,
disassembly is not possible. Do not disassembly the main drive assembly in
the field.
Points to Note When Mounting Main Drive Assembly
In case the cartridge coupling arm [1] is disengaged when disassembling the
main drive assembly, make sure to attach it under the protrusions [2] of the
plate.
Check that the coupling [1] of the cartridge is interlocked to the opening/
closing of the ETB when mounting the main drive assembly.
If the coupling is not interlocked, it is possible that the cartridge coupling
arm of the main drive assembly is not attached correctly. Therefore, remove
the main drive assembly, and check if the cartridge coupling arm is attached
correctly.

2) Remove the flat cable [1].
3) Disconnect the 6 connectors [1], and free the cable from the cable guide.
4) Open the ETB unit, and remove the right inner cover [1].

When removing the right inner cover, be sure to take care not to touch the
surface of the ETB.
