Powering Up the Drive
Review the following checklist before applying power to the A1000.
Item to Check
Power supply
Drive output terminals and motor
terminals
Control circuit terminals
Drive control terminal status
Status of the load and connected
machinery
<1> Install a 6-Phase/12-Pulse isolation transformer with each of the output windings phase shifted by 30 electrical degrees or use a Hybrid 6-
Phase topology.

6-Phase/12-Pulse Isolated 380 to 480 Vac 50/60 Hz, 30 electrical degrees phase shifted each phase
Properly wire the power supply input terminals (R/L1, S/L2, T/L3, R1/L11, S1/L21, T1/L31).
Check for proper grounding of drive and motor.
Properly wire drive output terminals U/T1, V/T2, and W/T3 with motor terminals U, V, and W.
Check control circuit terminal connections.
Open all control circuit terminals (off).
Decouple the motor from the load.
