3.12. Emergency Stow Procedure

1. Manual movement maybe required in case of an emergency where no power to motors exists
or any of the two (EL or AZ) motors fail.
2. To manually move the platform, use a 14mm Hex Socket wrench or any tool with a Hex
attachment. Place wrench on Hex Socket and rotate in the desired direction. This method of
manual movement is valid on 755A/981A/985A and 1201A.
Hex Socket
 If your system did not ship with the Hex Sockets installed on the motor reducer shafts contact
C-COM Satellite Systems Inc.

Note: A drill is NOT recommended as this may cause damage to the gear reducer.
