10. Install the other end of the gas spring; using specified fasteners. Apply loctite 242 along with
plastic bushing. No jam nut is required here.
11. Connect cables in POL Cage, Tilt Sensor, Motor, Compass etc.
12. You have successfully installed the 1201 Polarization Assembly.

3.5. Replacing the Polarization Assembly for a 981 Platform

1. Install POL Assembly onto feed using specified fasteners and mounting bushings. Install
positioning screws and tighten.
2. Insert mounting screws into place and tighten to specified torque.
3. Remove cover and connect cables in POL Cage, Tilt Sensor, Motor, Compass etc.
4. You have successfully installed the 981 Polarization Assembly.
