Removal Procedures

If it is necessary to remove a rack-mounted library from a rack, use the following
procedure where applicable:
1. Log in to the library from the Operator Panel.
2. Take the library offline. See "Taking the Library Offline/Online" on page 7-23.
3. In the Operator Panel top menu, select Unlock Magazine, and press Enter.
4. Select All Magazines, and press Enter.
5. Remove and clearly label the cartridge magazines from the library.
6. In the Operator Panel top menu, select Commands, and press Enter.
7. Select Prepare to Ship, and press Enter. This moves the Accessor assembly to a
