4. Loading/saving an effect user file
A card can contain two effect user files: 1 and 2. An effect
user file contains all of the user programs.
The file loaded at power-on
When the power is turned on, file 1 (1.EFF) will be loaded,
and this will also be the save destination when effect pro-
grams are saved.
If no effect user file (1.EFF) has been saved on the card, the
data stored in the PXR4 itself (the default settings) will be
loaded.
Simply exchanging cards will not change the contents of the
effects.
To save to a different effect user file
Display the "CardUtl" page.

Press the [SYSTEM] key to display the "CardUtl"
page.
Display the "CdFxSave" page.

Press the [CURSOR] right key, and then press the
[CURSOR] down key to display the "CdFxSave" page.
Select the desired effect user file.

Press the [CURSOR] right key to display "Save Num."
Use the dial to select the file number.
Save the file.

Press the [CURSOR] right key. The display will ask
"Sure?," so use the dial to select "Yes," and press the
[CURSOR] right key. If you select "No," the data will
not be saved.

Loading a different effect user file
Display the "CardUtil" page.

Press the [SYSTEM] key to display the "CardUtil"
page.
Display the "CdFxLoad" page.

Press the [CURSOR] right key, and then press the
[CURSOR] down key to display the "CdFxLoad"
page.
Select the desired effect user file.

Press the [CURSOR] right key to display "Load
Num." Use the dial to select the file number. If you
select "Int," the data (factory settings) stored in inter-
nal memory will be loaded.
Load the file.

Press the [CURSOR] right key. The display will ask
"Sure?," so use the dial to select "Yes" and press the
[CURSOR] right key. If you select "No," the file will
not be loaded.
