The FrameSaver 9000 Series Access Carrier provides an alarm system relay that
you can configure to activate when an alarm condition is present. To use the
system alarm relay, you must:

information on how to connect the alarm relay connector.
Set the following configuration option:

Alarm Relay
Enable
Ensure that the System Alarm Relay Cut-off under the Control branch is not
selected. This menu selection turns off the system alarm relay.
Color
What It Means
Green
ON – The interchange circuits for the port
are in the correct state to transmit and
receive data.
OFF – The port is idle. Occurs if the port is
disabled, or if the port is configured to
monitor DTR and/or RTS and the
lead(s) is not asserted.
