Displaying Identity Information

Use the Identity screen to view identification information about the system, the
FrameSaver access unit (NAM), and the DBM (if installed). This information is
useful if you are purchasing additional or replacement access units and/or
making firmware upgrades.
Procedure
To view identity information for the system, NAM, and DBM:
1. Use the following menu sequence, pressing Return after each selection:

left ( ) arrow keys to scroll additional text into view.

To find the . . .
Domain name for the SNMP-managed node. A
maximum of 40 characters.
Contact person for this SNMP-managed node.
Physical location for this SNMP-managed node.
NAM's 7-character serial number.
NAM's 4-character model number (i.e., 9121).
NAM's software version. Format nn.nn.nn consists
of a 6-digit number that represents the major and
minor revision levels.
NAM's hardware version. Format nnnn-nnx
consists of a 4-digit number, followed by 2 digits
and 1 alphabetic character.
