Replacing Gateway Notebook Components

Lift the brown keyboard connector clip and remove the keyboard cable. Be careful
not to touch or damage any other components.

Lift the old keyboard away from the notebook. The keyboard is now completely
detached from the notebook.

Lay the new keyboard face down on top of the palm rest.

Make sure that the brown keyboard connector clip is raised, insert the cable into the
connector, then slide the clip down to lock the connector in place.

The cable is correctly oriented if the cable is not twisted.
