Crankshaft
To protect the crankshaft against scratches
or to facilitate the operation of the installa-
tion.
Apply the grease to the oil seal lips, and app-
ly the engine oil to each hearing.
1.
Attach:
• Crankshaft Installing Tool
(90890-01274 (1), 90890-01275
90890-01278 (3))
(2) and
2. Install:
• Crankshaft
NOTE:
Hold the connecting rod at top dead center with
one hand while turning the nut of the Installing
Tool with the other. Operate the Installing Tool
until the crankshaft bottoms against the bearing.
