ENGINE REMOVAL

Remover
• Engine
To the right.
NOTE:
The engine and swingarm are installed using the
same pivot shaft. Therefore, take care so that the
pivot shaft is pulled, not entirely out, but for
enough to set the engine free.

Avoid damping the rubber hose and shock
absorber gas chamber.

DISASSEMBLY
Cylinder Head
1.
Remove:
• Thermo-unit (D
• Thermostatic
valve cover
• Gasket
• Thermostatic valve (4)
• 0-ring
WARNING:
Handle the thermo-unit with special care.
Never subject it to strong or allow it to be
dropped. Should it be dropped, it must be
replaced.

2.
Remove:
• Cylinder head
• Cylinder head gasket
NOTE:
1. Before loosening the cylinder head, loosen
the spark plug (5).
2. The cylinder head holding nuts should be
loosened 1/2 turn each time, and remove.
