When You Cannot Open the Boot

What to Do When Unable to Open the Boot
If you cannot open the boot, use the following procedure.

1. Remove the left side rear outer head
restraint.
2 Removing and Reinstalling the Head
Restraints P. 205
2. Remove the built-in key from the keyless
remote.
3. Wrap a cloth around the tip of the built-in
key. Put it into the cover (as shown in the
image) and remove the cover.
4. Pull the boot release handle in the direction
of the arrow in the image.
u The boot unlocks and opens.
