The devices are provided with four USB interfaces on the connector panel
(XUSB1/2 and XUSB3/4) and - depending on the variant - one USB interface
on the front panel.
NOTICE
The maximum power consumption of one USB connector must not exceed 500
mA. The total current of all USB female connectors must not exceed 1 A.

The USB connections on the VDP 08.3/40.3 only support USB1.1 because the
data is transferred to the control cabinet PC by using the XSER interface. The
mode
XUSB1 to XUSB6 connection on the control cabinet PC support USB2.0. If
USB2.0 is also required on the VDP 08.3/40.3, it can be implemented by con‐
necting the XUSBIN connection to the VDP 08.3/40.3 to one USB connection
(XUSB1 up to XUSB6) of the control cabinet PC by using an USB cable (see
fig. 7-5 "Voltage supply and optional USB2.0 port" on page
