1. Inspect caliper body for nicks, scratches, pitting or
wear.
Measure

specifications. Replace if damaged or worn beyond
service limit.

Std: 1.191 in (30.251 mm)
Service Limit: 1.192 in (30.277 mm)

Std: 1.187 in (30.162 mm)
Service Limit: 1.186 in (30.124 mm)
3. Inspect the brake disc and pads as outlined in this
chapter.

while pushing inward. Piston should slide in and out
of bore smoothly with light resistance.
