16. Apply a thin layer of float fluid to the threads, nut, or
BOC post (if applicable) and torque to specification.
TORQUE
Piston Nut: 22 lb-ft (30 Nm)
17. If applicable, install BOC post valving.
NOTICE
Ensure retaining ring is fully installed and secure.

18. If applicable, install BOC piston and retaining ring.
19. Apply Loctite® primer to the body cap threads.
20. Install appropriate O-ring and apply a thin layer of
shock oil to the O-ring ONLY.
