Selecting and Setting a Custom Functions

In this example, the scale shows
that Custom Functions C.Fn-1,
C.Fn-5, C.Fn-10, and C.Fn-14 have
been altered.
• "C.Fn" is the abbreviation for "Custom Function."

Open the side door and press the

> button.
The Custom Function No. appears on
the LCD panel.
Turn the <
desired Custom Function No.
appears.
Press the <
the Custom Function's setting.
The Custom Function setting
changes each time you press the
<
> button.
• To change C.Fn-0's setting, press the
<
> button for at least 2 seconds.

Press the shutter button halfway.
The LCD panel returns to the normal
display and the new Custom Function
setting takes effect.
• Altered Custom Function Indicator
After you alter a Custom Function
setting and press the <
bar
appears on the exposure
compensation scale.
The scale's increments from left to right
are used to denote the 19 Custom
Functions. The left-most increment (–3)
is for C.Fn-1. The next increment to the
right denotes the next Custom Function
in numerical order up to C.Fn-19.
