The interface counters in MIB-II (RFC 1213) are supported for PPP.
Support for read-only operations (GET operations, but not SET operations) is provided

Point-to-Point Protocol
• RFC 1472: The Definitions of Managed Objects for the Security Protocols of the
Point-to-Point Protocol
• RFC 1474: The Definitions of Managed Objects for the IP Network Control Protocol of the
Point-to-Point Protocol
• RFC 1473: The Definitions of Managed Objects for the Bridge Control Protocol

This section lists the DiffServ-related software standards that are supported for the
PoS modules.

Standards Supported for DiffServ

The Extreme Networks implementation of RED is based on the well-known paper
Random Early Detection Gateways for Congestion Avoidance, by Sally Floyd and Van
Jacobson. The Extreme Networks implementation of RED also complies with the
Packet Over SONET Module Installation and User Guide
