The manufactured date range on the amplifier can also be used to
determine if the updated waveguide switch interface is used. The
manufactured date is listed on the product serial number label.
The first two digits indicate the week of the year, while the last two digits
are the year. Products with manufactured dates greater than 50-12, the
50th week of 2012, are more likely to have the updated waveguide switch
interface.
