Refer to Figure 10. When selected, the Heater Standby option
will reduce the voltage applied to the TWT heater circuit when the
amplifier is in standby mode, which will increase the life of the
tube. If the amplifier is commanded into the transmit mode the
voltage will automatically change to the correct operating voltage
for the heater.
