ANMS - Authentication
The Advanced Network Management Settings Authentication page allows you
to set up login authentication and authorization management from external
sources. It is divided into several sections, which are described in the sections
that follow.
Disable Local Authentication
Selecting this option will disable local login authentication on the RCM101A.
The switch can only be accessed using LDAP, LDAPS, MS Active Directory
or RADIUS authentication.
RADIUS Settings
To allow authentication and authorization for the RCM101A through a
RADIUS server, do the following:
1. Check Enable.
2. Fill in the IP addresses and port numbers for the Preferred and Alternate
RADIUS servers.
3. In the Timeout field, set the time in seconds that the RCM101A waits for a
RADIUS server reply before it times out.
4. In the Retries field, set the number of allowed RADIUS retries.
5. In the Shared Secret field, key in the character string that you want to use
for authentication between the RCM101A and the RADIUS Server.
