Error Message Displayed to user
• E88
• MC Lost Comm
Condition
Motor controller lost communication with the console. Reported after / if console re-establishes comm with motor
controller.
Cause
• Bad communication cable
• Bad console
• Bad main PCBA
• Bad SIB / RCB
Remedy
• Verify communication cable (J4 on Main PCBA in console) is fully plugged in.
• Verify communication cable on base is fully plugged in.
• Troubleshoot by swapping communication cable. If error does not return, replace communication cable.
• Troubleshoot by swapping console. If error does not return, replace main PCBA.
• If error continues, replace SIB / RCB.
