Preventive maintenance

The maintenance work described below must be
performed by the user.

If components are damaged or worn or do not
function properly:
Inform the Bosch customer service or an
authorized service agent.
7.2.1

Service intervals

Component Action
Labels Visual inspection: All labels are
existent and clearly legible.
Measuring units Visual inspection:
and ramps Components are damaged.
Wiring Visual inspection:
Insulation is damaged.
Measuring units Cleaning the interiors of the
measuring units
Measuring units Tighten screws on shear

Adsorber Check the condition of the drying

Activate maintenance mode

1. Select <Settings>.
2. Select operation mode Maintenance in the General
information tab.
3. Select <Apply>.

Maintaining measuring units

1. Unhook drive-down ramps from measuring units:
x to do so, lift both fillister head screws of the drive-
down ramps out of the measuring units' keyholes.
x
2. Open up the cover plates of the measuring units.
Cover plate stays open by itself after it has been
x
turned by approx. 110°.
3. Cleaning the internal spaces of the measuring units:
x

Remove course material such as leaves and other
x
small objects by hand.
$
x
Remove small objects with a vacuum cleaner.
4. After cleaning the interior: Check clearance below
x
the diagnosis modules with a feeler gauge. The
x
clearance must be approx. 2 mm.
