When the bottle is rotated,
toner moves towards the
front of the machine and into
the hopper.
The agitator in the hopper
pushes the toner towards the
toner supply coil.
From there, the toner drops
into the development unit.
Only the CMY units have
toner end sensors.
In the K unit, the ID chip
monitors toner end.
The machine calculates
near end from how much
toner has been supplied
during the life of the bottle.
