Optional Hardware and Software
This Valve Option is intended for applications where Zero Air is supplied by a Zero
Air Generator like the T-API Model 701 and Span Gas are being supplied by Gas
Dilution Calibrator Like the T-API Model 700 or 702. Internal Zero/Span and
Sample/Cal valves control the flow of gas through the instrument, but no shutoff
valve is required.
An external gas line greater than 2 meters but less than 10 meters in length is
required to be attached to the Span Vent outlet on the Rear Panel of the
instrument.
This Option requires that both Zero Air and Span gas be supplied at a minimum of
800 cc/min, preferably 1600 cc/min.
Table 5–1 lists the Open/Closed state of each valve during the analyzers various
operational modes.

5.2.4. Zero/Span Valve Option 53

Option 53 is a variant of Option 52 with the addition of an internal Zero Air
Scrubber.
